Choosing a Practitioner

What you should do to ensure that you have a clinic and practitioner that is right for you

We have sometimes found that people call Hunter House Clinic regarding Medical Cosmetic treatments focussing on just one or two parameters e.g. price or location.  We also have had many people come to us as a result of the services of other treatment providers not really meeting their needs.

At Hunter House Clinic, we would always encourage you to come along to us for a Consultation. This helps us, and you, to understand your needs and lets you have a full understanding of the treatments that could be provided, and what they can do for you.

It also gives you an opportunity to see our clinic and meet with Elizabeth to gauge whether she is the right practitioner for you.

Some people don’t yet want to have a consultation but are gauging which provider they want to go to.  For these people we have put together the following questions we find help people decide who they want to go to and why.  We are of course happy to answer these and any other questions you may like to ask but feel free to use these questions whichever service provider you contact. We’ve put a summary version of the answers we would provide so you can use these as a basis for comparison.

Do you offer a free consultation?

Elizabeth at Hunter House Clinic does offer a free consultation and there is absolutely no obligation to have any treatments.  Free means Free!

Also, if you just want a phone call initially, Elizabeth would be happy to give you a call to discuss your general queries.
Just let us know when you would like to be called.

Hunter House has selected the best products on the market for their treatments.  Whilst this isn’t always the cheapest, they have been proven to give the best results.  For example some practitioners say they use Botox™ when they use inferior Botulinum toxin substitutes. Hunter House Clinic only uses the genuine products all of which have been fully clinically tested.  You will always be told in advance of any treatments, which product we recommend for you.

It is really important you understand the expertise of the person who is going to do the treatments on you and whether it is the same person who will provide the initial consultation (they are not always the same!). At Hunter House Elizabeth Hunter undertakes all the Medical cosmetic treatments and consultations.
Elizabeth was trained in Harley Street, London and is fully trained and certified to undertake all the treatments she offers.  She has undertaken thousands of treatments with over 14 years experience.  Product suppliers regard her as one of the leading specialists in Suffolk.  She is the owner of Hunter House Clinic and is passionate about giving clients the best experience that she can.

Always ensure that if you are thinking of having a Medical Cosmetic treatment that the person performing the treatment is a Medical Practitioner. This is a Nurse Prescriber, Doctor or Dentist and is registered with NMC, GMC or GDC with specialist Aesthetic training. The registers can be viewed on line.

All Hunter House Clinic starting prices are published on our website and brochure (available on request either electronically or by post).

Overall cost depends on the treatments you want. Elizabeth will put together a bespoke treatment package depending on your needs and budget.
If you decide to go ahead with treatment Elizabeth will have given you a detailed price for the treatment in advance. There will not be any surprise costs.
Sadly this is not the case with some other practitioners.

Hunter House is a purpose-built medical cosmetic clinic fully furnished with clean, safe and up to date equipment to provide you with a relaxing yet professional treatment environment.

At Hunter House we can usually offer appointments within 2 weeks.
Elizabeth also offers a late night session once a week and one Saturday session a month.

At Hunter House we believe the most important thing is for you is to be confident the recommended treatments suit you and are undertaken at a time to suit you.  After a consultation you will be provided with full details of the treatments we recommend, their prices and the time they take to work. Many people like to go away and think about things then. Elizabeth will provide you with her contact details if you think of any other questions after the consultation. Do take as long as you want to think about what you want. We would rather you have no treatments than feel you are under any pressure following a consultation.

Elizabeth provides detailed after-care following treatments.  She always provides every client with the opportunity to book a review so that they can speak to her after treatment if they have any queries. The review is free of charge.

Hunter House Clinic is located in Martlesham Heath just outside Ipswich. It has free parking right outside the clinic.  Elizabeth is there Monday to Friday every week and one Saturday per month.

Book an Aesthetic Consultation

At Hunter House Clinic the Consultation is free.

When you book a Consultation, we kindly ask that you pay a £50 deposit to secure the appointment.

If, after your Consultation, you decide you don’t wish to proceed with any treatment you can use your deposit towards a Beauty treatment or a retail product.
